Milton Volleyball Info Meeting- March 11th at 6:00 PM

Our Milton Volleyball informational meeting will take place in the Milton Media Center on March 11th at 6:00 PM.  This meeting is intended for all parents and athletes who are interested in trying out for volleyball in April.  This includes rising freshmen, returning players, those new to Milton, and Junior Eagles.   At this meeting we will cover the tryout process, register for tryouts, go over important summer/fall dates, and give an overview of the season.   If you are unable to attend, please reach out to Coach Hall for information.

Milton Volleyball Tryouts- April 21st - 25th

In order to be eligible to try out for a Milton Volleyball Team

• Tryout registration forms must be filled out by April 13th.

• Current Physicals must be uploaded to Rank One before trying out. 

• Must be currently enrolled at Milton or attending a school that feeds into Milton High School.  Please contact our AD, Kory Keys, with questions regarding tryout eligibility. 

• All athletes must be in good academic standing.

• April 21st & April 22nd  5:00-6:30:  Optional  Train for Tryouts

Train for tryouts is primarily for those new to Milton and our Junior Eagles.  This is a great opportunity to get in the gym, work on skills, and play before tryouts officially begin. 

 

• April 23rd, 24th & 25th:  Mandatory Tryouts for All  High School Players.  Specific times for each team will be posted at a later date.

• April 25th:  Junior Eagles Tryouts 1:00-3:00

​

• All teams will be announced on this website by 6:00 on Saturday, April 25th.

​

• There will be an additional summer tryout for any  who move to Milton over the summer.  Date and time to be determined.

Mandatory Player/Parent Commitment Night - April 30th

Mandatory commitment night will take place in the Milton cafeteria at 6:00 PM.  This organizational meeting is for all players who have made a Milton Volleyball Team and their parents.  All athletes and at least one parent are expected to attend.   Failure to attend the meeting without prior communication will result in being withdrawn from the team.  Program vision, Summer schedules, team camp, Fall calendars, parent duty assignment calendars, and logistics will be discussed at this important meeting.  We will be sizing for uniforms and ordering team gear/spirit wear.  Team dues will be collected at this time.

Summer Training- June 2nd - July 24th

• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00-9:30 AM 

• 7:00-8:45 AM Skills Training for all High School Teams

• 8:45-9:30 AM- Culture and Team Building

• There will be no training the week of June 8th, June 15th, and June 29th due to AAUs, Junior Nationals, and GHSA Dead Week.

• Starting the week of July 6th we will add Friday from 8:00-10:00

• All High School athletes are expected to attend summer training

Junior Eagles Youth Camp- June  8th - 11th  1:00-4:00 PM

Milton Junior Eagles Camp is designed for female athletes ages 8-14 who are interested in learning the game of volleyball through individual instruction, drills, and fun team games.  The camp runs from 1:00 - 4:00 PM and is intended for both beginners as well as experienced players.   This camp will also serve as our Junior Eagle Team Camp and all athletes who have made a Junior Eagles Team are expected to attend.   The Milton Volleyball Coaching Staff, experienced area coaches, Milton alumni, and our 2026 varsity team, will be leading the camp.  The cost of camp is $175.  Registration links will be shared soon.  Space is limited!  Hope to see  you there!

Varsity Summer Team Camp - University of Louisville

Save the date!  Our Varsity Team will be attending the University of Louisville team camp July 12th - 14th.  More details to come!

Junior Varsity and Freshman Team Camp

Team camp for Junior Varsity and JV to be determined soon!  Check back for information at a later date.

2026 Save the Dates!

• July 27th:  Practice Officially Begins for all High School Teams

• August 1st:   Varsity and JV Scrimmage.  Mandatory Scoring Clinic for all parents in our program.

• August 3rd:  First Day of School

• August 4th:  Varsity preseason scrimmage vs West Forsyth @ HOME 

• Varsity Tournaments:  August 7th & 8th- Sequoyah Classic, August 29th- North Cobb Warrior Classic, September 12th- Rally High, October 6-8th Region Championships (#1 seed hosts)

• Junior Varsity Tournaments:  August 15th - Sequoyah Classic, September 12th - Rally High, October 3rd JV Region Tourney @ Gainesville.

• Freshman Tournaments:  August 15th - Coal Mountain Classic, September 12th - Rally High, October 3rd Freshman Region Tournament @ HOME

• September 19th - 27th- Fall Break:  Varsity will still be in region play and WILL HAVE PRACTICE  on Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th .  Please plan accordingly.
